Round amulets by Astalo Round amulets by Astalo
New pendants what i soldered together from all kind of brass/copper wires, plates, tubes and also some round steel pellets from my old air pistol. (Outside diameter of that big filigree pendant is about 34 mm.)

I must say they all are great each for their own reasons. My eye is naturally drawn to the center one most, but I personally like the design of the center left one most. ( I just have a thing for organic looking designs ) The next I personally like is the middle right because it has a forest like look to it.

those will probably sell very well. Do you sell them at Ren fares and such?

I go almost every summer to one three day event in Helsinki. (It's called Ropecon and i have one picture-collage from there in my scraps section. [link] ) I go usually also few smaller events in this part of Finland.

Most famous and oldest "ren fare" type festival in Finland is Turku Medieval Market, but selling places cost a little bit too much for my budget..

so about how much do you sell those kind of amulets for anyways?

yeah there the same here by what I could tell ( 8 bucks for a turkey leg, and 3 for a small water bottle. )

( speaking of Finland my favorite band is from there. and judging by the picture in your link their as popular there as disturbed is here. )

Thanks for adding these to your favourites.
Last summer was first time when i made pendants like those and i don't know when i going to made more similar amulets. (Usually i take only my forged pendants and brooches in that event.)

Heh.. Nice that you noticed Timjos band shirt.
Nightwish has always been a quite popular group at least in this part of Finland, because original members are from one small town called "Kitee" and it's located very close to my home district.
I saw that band first time somewhere in 1997-1998, when they were not so famous. :)

I went to see them in concert about a year ago along with Sonata Arctica, I've been listening to them for about four years now total, and Nightwish is now one of my top favorite bands. Sadly most bands here in the states are not as good with power metal. ( everyone here seems to only like screamo sadly. )

Very glad to hear that you like finnish bands. Power/trash/speed-metal style music have been quite mainstream stuff in here at least from the mid-nineties. (I don't know why..)

Sometimes i have seen also blackmetal bands like Dimmu Borgir very high in the top-ten charts with huge international pop-artists, like Madonna, Britney Spears etc. and it feels always quite funny. :XD:

Beautifully organic and also reminding me of medieval magical talismans.

Nice to hear it. Idea on that middle one came really just those esoteric symbols what some old secret societies use in their rituals etc. :)
