I'm not sure, but if there were thick leather backings and attached to a horses halter or harnesses, I'd swear these were horse drawn carriage décor. I like them, nice work.

Very nice to hear it. Forged steel color is actually very close to dark gray, but that lighting makes them look quite similar than "horse brasses".

Thanks for the compliments. I sell my works only in craft fairs, medieval festivals and other places like that. I don't have any kind of online shop.

Well, if you ever would consider selling one to denmark, please let me know :) I would love to own one like the one on the middle, or the second from the left in the bottom row :)

Thin outside layer turns kind like greenish gray when steel is heated/forged. (Some of the carbon will come out from that metal mixture when it's red hot.) There is also shades of brown very easily if you used propane torch instead of coal forge.

Colors also change a little bit in different lighting, because that grayish surface is some times quite reflective, so it probably look different if you take pictures in sunny or cloudy day etc.

Very nice to hear it and thanks for adding this to your favourites.
That "ace of spades" pendant is also my own favourite in this set. (I have always liked round/curly shapes and everything symmetrical..)

These are wonderful! I particularly like the "curly" one in the bottom row - wonderful flow and balance!
