Beetle bootjack by Astalo Beetle bootjack by Astalo
One of my oldest cousins want a unique shoe remover what look like an "Hylotrupes Bajulus", so i had to design and make it to him in last week.

Antennas are forged from old car coil spring and rest of that is made from forged steel bits, tubes and 3 mm thick steel plates and two bearings balls what i attached together with my stick arc welder. (Length of the beetle is about 33 cm.)

Kovakuoriaiset ovat oikeastaan melko yleinenkin aihe kenkärengeissä, mutta tämä on varmasti ainoa juuri "tupajäärän" näköinen malli. :)

Enimmäkseen ne taitaa olla kuitenkin valuraudasta valmistettuja ja tuo on aivan liian hankala malli näillä mun menetelmillä tehtäväksi, jotta sitä kannattaisi takoa ihan myyntiinkin saakka.. (Pitää varmaankin yksinkertaistaa rakennetta jotenkin.)
