Throwing weapons 1

Last time when i made some shurikens was over five years ago [link] and it was a quite nice job to make last week this darkened set of traditional 18 cm long bo-shurikens and senban-shurikens for one Finnish martial arts dojo. (Spikes are forged from slices of old 8 mm thick leaf spring and those senbans are made from 3 mm thick steel plate and huge square washers just like in the feudal Japan.)

I made also some shiny throwing spikes for my own collection, because my old bo-shurikens are quite lightweighted and i want to use also some good and sturdy "heavy duty spikes" for the longer throws. (Small round spikes are made from 12 mm thick coil spring and they are 20 cm long. Square throwers are forged from old railroadspikes and those huge 27-30 cm long spikes are kind like my own versions of "Cold Steel Torpedo" throwing weapon. Big round spikes are forged from 20 mm thick steel axle and my biggest spike is forged from old hexagonal stone drilling rod and it weights about 450 g.)
