First is medieval pole arm called Bardiche and I made it from old half broken "plow disc". (It was very hard steel and I broke at least five drill bits when I made those holes for pole sockets.)
Next objects are viking style spearheads from regular steel and bottom left is pole arm called Voulge. It's blade is forged from spring steel and spikes are from regular steel, just like that single spearhead in the last picture.
I wish I had the drive to craft this sort of stuff myself! I have two spearheads which I'll be mounting to shafts, but I think that the extent of my abilities.
these are very nice. i hear you on the drill bits. stainless is a pain too. i like the plow disc idea. i get ideas for stuff all the time. i see something and i think of thinks i could do with it. as with all your stuff beautiful work!
